Quaras Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other relevant laws and guidelines, and strives to properly handle and protect personal information. Based on the following policy, we establish our approach to personal information protection.
1. Definition of Personal Information
Personal information refers to information related to a living individual that can identify a specific individual directly or indirectly, such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, etc., including information that can be easily compared with other information to identify an individual, or personal identifiers (e.g., My Number, driver’s license number, passport number).

The Company acquires personal information through lawful and fair means with notification and consent of the individual, and uses it for the following purposes:
- Communication regarding membership registration, renewal, and withdrawal procedures
- Provision of services and after-sales services
- Responding to customer inquiries
- Providing information on products, events, and campaigns (including direct mail)
- Improving website usability, analyzing usage, and delivering advertisements through cookies (see Section 8)
- Other purposes consented to by the customer
In operating our online store, we use the services of Shopify. Accordingly, your personal information may be collected and processed by Shopify and handled in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without the individual’s consent, except where required by law.
4. Handling of Personal Information in Outsourcing
When outsourcing operations, the Company concludes appropriate agreements with contractors and exercises necessary supervision to prevent leakage, etc.

The Company implements technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, alteration, or loss of personal information. Once the purpose of use is achieved and information is no longer required, it will be properly disposed of according to internal procedures.
6. Requests Regarding Retained Personal Data
Customers may request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of their retained personal data. After identity verification, the Company will respond in principle within seven business days in accordance with relevant laws.
7. Cookie Policy and Compliance with International Laws (GDPR, CCPA)
7.1 Cookie Policy
The Company uses cookies and similar technologies for improving website usability, analyzing usage, and delivering advertisements.
Customers can refuse or delete cookies via browser settings or opt-out tools provided by third parties. However, disabling cookies may cause some site functions to not work properly.
7.2 GDPR Compliance (EEA and UK)
Personal information of customers residing in the EEA and UK is handled in compliance with GDPR, including:

Customers residing in California are granted the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

・Request for deletion of personal information (except where retention is legally required)
・Opt-out of the sale of personal information (the Company does not sell personal information)
・Protection against discriminatory treatment for exercising rights
The Company does not collect or use personal information of children under 13 without parental consent. If improperly collected, such data will be deleted promptly.
8. Use of Cookies and Behavioral Targeting Advertising
The Company uses cookies and similar technologies to improve usability, analyze usage, and deliver ads (including behavioral targeting). This enables personalized ads based on browsing history and preferences.
Customers may disable cookies via browser settings, but some services may not function properly.
